How to get started at our school

We are a small yoga school focusing on the individual needs of each practitioner, our yoga school has an inspiring and serene atmosphere with a wonderful community of practitioners, a place to feel at home. It's always very special to welcome a newcomer to our classes and yoga school.

Our school teaches in the traditional method of vinyasa krama, in this special method of teaching the needs of every practitioner are attended to in the Mysore style yoga class form.
Practicing in the Mysore style yoga class format, practitioners will benefit from receiving direct one-on-one guidance from the teacher, and will grow in their practice with a gradual step-by-step approach respecting each student's unique pace and capability. A class where beginners practice alongside more seasoned practitioners. A setting for community and self-growth.
Practitioners in a Mysore class setting, thus, receive individual supervision and adjustments, much more than what is possible during a led (talk through) class. With a little bit of time, teacher and practitioner get to know each other, and the teacher will understand the unique needs of each practitioner and fine-tune practice according to the physical, energetic and mental constitution of each practitioner. Arguably, the best way to learn and be in practice - respecting your own pace and capability.
In the mysore practice you will learn yoga in the Vinyasa Krama style, thus, you will learn a practice that suits you best, all under the guidance of an experienced teacher. This practice will be either a traditional Ashtanga yoga practice, but can also draw from Chandra Krama (Moon Sequence), Yin and Restorative yoga - all depending on your unique needs. A practice that will altogether bring you more peace, space and strength in body and mind: a unique practice for you.
To attend our classes no previous experience is needed but we ask a minimum commitment of following 5 classes, otherwise it doesn't make sense!
