Sangha & A Practice for All
Sangha means community. Community is an important ingredient and much welcomed support when practicing and making practice part of your life. You may not know the name of the person practicing next to you and you may have never exchanged a word with one another, yet by taking the same practice (yet each at their own capacity) and sharing the same breathing and practice space almost daily, connection and sangha is built inevitably. And more likely than not you will also start exchanging words, practice and life stories after practice over tea sooner or later.
This project is about our sangha, and our practitioners showing that yoga, and ashtanga yoga as practiced in the traditional Mysore style, is for everyone.
Eventually this page will feature all poses of the primary series in sequential order. You can then click on the photo to learn more about each asana (and learn the name of the asana) and also get to know our community a little.
