Participant Testimonials:

Erna Berendsen

"When you’re used to the vigor of the Asthanga practice a
yin/restorative session is quite a different animal. Easing down,
surrendering to the pose and slowing the breath, it all results in a
tranquility and a bit more contemplative mindset.

That’s not to say this doesn’t take effort, as holding a pose for
minutes can be challenging . But it’s up to you to decide how far you
want to go and Maxi is always there to suggest a modification when the
experience is just too much.

It is amazing how quickly time passes when you slow down like this,
and at the end of it I always wonder, “why don’t I do this more often?”
